I enrolled in the POCSO training workshop to better understand how to apply the legal and psycho-social aspects of child protection with my staff and students. The trainers were experts in the field, and the content was both comprehensive and practical. I am now applying my training with Child Safety at Work to strengthen my school's policies and procedures.
I've attended various child protection workshops, but this POCSO training stands out. It not only covered the legal framework but also emphasized preventive measures and individual involvement. The networking opportunities with fellow participants has helped build my connections as well.

The most helpful learning for me today was the realisation of how much more schools can do to strengthen child protection beyond complying with legal requirements. The session was truly an eye-opener. It broadened my understanding of the various forms of abuse, the importance of recognising early signs, and the critical role every adult in a school plays in safeguarding children. I am leaving with greater awareness, practical insights, and a renewed commitment to further strengthen our school's child protection practices.
Both Samriti and Sana very patiently heard our doubts and experiences and addressed them effectively, the flow of the session was very fluid, very effective.
To be honest everything was highly important and helpful for me but if I have to choose then the adequate use of language, words and reaction towards the children when they share their issues with their parents or guardians was something really stood out for me. Additionally, the way of explaining case studies and judgements with utmost honesty of how the actual ground reality look like is indeed appreciated.
